We comfortably serve Grand Traverse, Manistee, Wexford, and Benzie counties, but if you’re outside this area, we may still be able to help you.

Started in 2023, Northern Michigan Dog Grooming LLC is a small business seeking to improve the lives of pets in our area. We aim to bring comfort to both our furry friends and their parents by making the grooming experience more personalized and attempting to remove the more stressful aspects: the overstimulation of the salon environment, leaving mom and dad at the door, and being surrounded by other potentially nervous pets. We do not offer show grooming or hand stripping, but are more than capable of giving a breed standard cut to applicable dogs.

What is house call Grooming?

We send a stylist directly to your home. We bring our table, tools, shampoos, and towels to best aid you and your pet.

Due to the nature of this service, it may not be possible to groom all dogs because of size or behavior. If you are unsure if this is right for you and your pet, please reach out to us on our contact page or call 231-335-1270

It depends. For smaller dogs, it should not be a problem. For larger dogs, we have no way to tether them in place for the bath, or comfortably control them on our table. Working solo, we are not able to groom larger dogs that may overpower us.
We ask to be indoors if temperatures are extreme for the safety of your pet and our staff. We recommend a room where the flooring is easily swept (no carpet!) We just need enough space to set up our table and easily move around it.
Yes. For small dogs, we can use a sink, and for medium to large dogs we ask for access to your bathtub or shower.
We are able to take tap to pay cards, but can also send you an invoice via text or email where you can enter your card information manually. We take cash as well. We currently do not take checks.
